“Our member businesses want accountability to ensure the organization is generating economic growth and benefit for the region,” said Lee Anne Nance, RTCC managing director and executive vice president of the Research Triangle Regional Partnership (RTRP), which manages the cluster. “Our new metrics dashboard puts that accountability and impact front and center so we can keep our eyes on the prize.”

Research Triangle Region, N.C. – Lee Anne Nance, managing director of the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster, has been appointed to the Smart Cities Council Advisory Board.
The board comprises more than 50 of the world’s foremost independent organizations of experts on smart city technologies.
“Smart cities are not only a great commercial opportunity but also an important way to help the world’s cities achieve livability, workability and sustainability,” Council Chairman Jesse Berst said in announcing Nance’s appointment. “We know that cleantech innovation is central to accomplishing those goals. “Economic development is a contact sport,” said RTCC Managing Director Lee Anne Nance, executive vice president for the Research Triangle Regional Partnership, which created and manages the RTCC. “Our new site is designed to connect our cluster members in new and different ways and provide a gateway for them to connect with other companies, partners and talent.”
