Raleigh, N.C. – RTCC announced five new members: Cisco, WRAL TechWire, TE Connectivity, Stewart, and E4 Carolinas. In addition, two existing members (North Carolina State University and the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill) have joined RTCC's Board as Academic Directors.
"We're proud to announce Cisco and WRAL TechWire as our newest Leadership members," said Susan Sanford, Executive Director of the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster. "Each brings key strengths to the cluster - Cisco is a global leader in connectivity technology, including smart cities and transportation, and TechWire is such an influential publication in the Triangle and beyond. We're so excited to leverage our new partnership with WRAL to tell the stories of the Cluster and our members at a regional level."
TE Connectivity, Stewart, and E4 Carolinas have also joined the Cluster as industry, professional services, and non-profit members, respectively.

Two of RTCC's academic members, NCSU and UNC Chapel Hill, have also joined the board of directors. Dr. Louis Martin-Vega, Dean of NCSU's College of Engineering, and Dr. Greg Gangi, Associate Director for Education at UNC's Institute for the Environment, will represent two of RTCC's university partners.
