RTCC leads NC delegation to 2019 DistribuTECH

Raleigh, N.C.: The Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster led a delegation of 5 companies to the DistribuTECH Conference & Exhibition in February 2019.


The Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster partnered with E4 Carolinas to lead a delegation of North Carolina cleantech companies to New Orleans from February 5-7, 2019 to attend DistribuTECH ('DTECH'), the country's leading electric transmission and distribution conference, bringing together utility industry leaders from across the globe to network, share knowledge, & problem solve.

Delegates included 3DFS (which also had live demonstrations at the Deloitte booth), DNA Group, and Real-Time Innovations (RTI).

By participating in the 'North Carolina Energy Sector' delegation, members were able to access discounted conference badges, discounted booth show space, increased brand visibility, and marketing support from RTCC staff. Additionally, delegates were invited to an exclusive reception hosted by RTCC the evening before DTECH began.

RTCC members had a significant presence on the DTECH show floor, including ABB, Cisco, FREEDM Systems Center, Honeywell, Itron, Sensus, Tantalus, Triangle Microworks, and Trilliant. Other North Carolina companies were also highly visible.

The DTECH delegation was a success - 3 member companies successfully demonstrated their technologies, RTCC generated over 14,000 impressions on Twitter throughout the conference, and delegates reported satisfaction with the exclusive opportunities they were able to access by participating in the delegation.
