Research Triangle Region, N.C. – Registration remains opens through event day for the inaugural Energy Thought Summit at Research Triangle ([email protected]) Nov. 12 in Fletcher Opera Theater at the Duke Energy Performing Arts Center in Raleigh, N.C.
Online registration at http://energythoughtsummit.com/events/ets-at-researchtriangle-2014 closes at 6:30 a.m. on Nov. 12. Registration reopens at the door at 7:15 a.m.
The summit, coordinated by Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster (RTCC) with Zpryme, will feature leading smart energy experts and thought leaders discussing the state and future of energy and business opportunities it will generate.

Five summit panels focus on issues critical to smart grid development and deployment: Grid of the Future, Consumer Engagement, Education and Energy, Big Data & Analytics and New Energy Ventures. A sixth panel examines the companies and assets that are propelling the Research Triangle Region to global prominence in this fast-growing industry.
Keynote addresses and panels feature some of the biggest names in the global smart energy space, including top executives from the summit’s major sponsors, ABB Inc., Duke Energy, Piedmont Natural Gas, PowerSecure International and Schneider Electric
The latest electric car models offered by BMW and Tesla Motors will be showcased at the summit along with electric cars built by students at Topsail and West Wilkes high schools for the EV Challenge.
Doors open at 7:15 a.m. The program begins at 8 a.m. The event ends with music and networking 6-8 p.m. Tickets are $555 for in-state and $655 for out-of-state attendees. Discounted tickets at $155 are available for government, academic, NGO and utility sector attendees.
