The Joules Accelerator road show is underway with seven tech startups in its latest cohort.
Director Bob Irvin introduced the class Wednesday night in Charlotte and the tour is wrapping up today in Raleigh as the startups meet with established businesses there in search of potential pilots, sponsorship or funding. They went through the same drill in Charlotte on Thursday.
There are no companies from the Charlotte region in this batch of startups seeking business contacts, possible funding and mentoring through the accelerator. Two are from the Research Triangle, where Joules is partnering with the Research Triangle Cleantech Cluster. Another two startups are from Australia, and three are from California.
