RTCC Hosts SMART Series Focused on National Security and the Grid of the Future

On May 12, RTCC partnered with Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy to host Lt. General Ken Eickmann (Ret.), a member of CNA’s Military Advisory Board, a non-partisan organization made up of an elite group of retired three and four star general officers from the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps who study pressing issues of the day to assess their impact on America's national security.

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has named Bellinda and Jim Higgins, of Stay Online Corporation of North Carolina, Exporters of the Year for 2016. The company is headquartered in Creedmoor, North Carolina. Bellinda is president and her husband Jim is general manager. They were nominated by Alex Viva, International Business Development Counselor at the North Carolina Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC).

RTCC Hosts Cleantech Connect Career Fair and Smart Cities Panel at State Energy Conference

RTCC was pleased to partner with and support the 2016 State Energy Conference held at NC State University’s McKimmon Center, April 20-21. RTCC served as a gold sponsor of the annual event and hosted the Conference’s inaugural career fair which brought together 16 exhibitors and more than 270 individuals who registered to attend the career fair.

Duke Energy Coalition of the Willing SMART Series Recap

On March 18, representatives from ABB, Duke Energy, Green Energy Corp., Real-Time Innovations (RTI), and ScottMadden discussed Duke Energy’s Coalition of the Willing Initiative. The Coalition of the Willing brought together 25 smart grid, software, communication, and utility leaders to examine how a simpler and more cost-effective electric grid could be created.
