Research Triangle Region Partnership
RTRP (www.researchtriangle.org) is the public-private partnership that leads economic development strategy for the area within a 60-mile radius of the Raleigh-Durham International Airport and the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina. RTRP identified cleantech as a targeted sector in 2009 and created the RTCC in 2011 to accelerate the industry’s growth.
International Cleantech Network
ICN (www.internationalcleantechnetwork.com) invited the RTCC to join its elite ranks of global cleantech regions in 2010. ICN links cleantech clusters of excellence on a global level to stay informed on technology advances and industry best practices crucial for producing effective new systems that can build a sustainable future.
Smart Cities Council
The Smart Cities Council invited the RTCC to join its advisory board in 2015. The Smart Cities Council advocates and accelerates the move to smart and sustainable cities.
SmartGrid Consumer Collaborative
SGCC (www.smartgridcc.org) focuses on understanding the energy needs and wants of consumers and promotes collaboration among commercial, utility and advocacy organizations to accelerate the adoption of a smart grid that is consumer-friendly, consumer-safe and consumer-approved.
Global Cleantech Cluster Association
GCCA (www.globalcleantech.org ) promotes regional economic development strategies and productivity on a global scale. It targets economies on a localized (micro) level with more sustainable, renewable energy practices and drives successful collaboration in order to impact the world (macro).
